TOPWATER LABRADORS is strictly a small hobby kennel. We rarely breed, and only with great consideration. We have done a lot with a few. We have been truly blessed from God, with dog.
With the gift of a Labrador puppy (over 35 years ago), we dedicated the kennel to developing the dual purpose Labrador for show, field, and family companion--a beautiful retriever with that true Labrador temperament and desire to retrieve! Three generations of our family have enjoyed a Topwater Labrador.
Our Labradors have proven versatility, train-ability and intelligence. We have titled Labs in AKC shows, AKC Hunt Tests, and AKC Obedience competitions, and certified therapy. We have owned a Champion Master Hunter---CH TOPWATER HIDDENSPRING YULETIDE RN CGC MH---
the 57th CHAMPION MASTER HUNTER IN THE HISTORY OF THE BREED!
Our Labradors are: OFA Hip, Elbow, and Heart Certified, OFA cleared eyes, PRA, CNM, HNPK and dilute gene clear, and EIC tested.
